Nowadays, sustainability and ecology are becoming increasingly important. The user’s opinion matters less and less, and hybrid cars automatically choose how to work, which has led to the very serious problem of increasing the fuel content of the engine oil. Unfortunately, lately just by the test results alone we can presume with 99% certainty that the car is a hybrid. This is evidenced by the always large amount of fuel in the oil, which is mainly due to very frequent starts of the internal combustion engine.<\/p>\n

This kind of engine not only operates even less frequently in its optimal operating conditions than a standard combustion system in urban conditions, but in addition, mixed much more heavily with fuel, it puts even more strain on the system, definitely shortening its trouble-free operation time.<\/p>\n

First, excessive fuel in the oil reduces the viscosity of the engine oil. Viscosity plays a key role in lubricating the engine, protecting it from wear and loss of performance. Oil that is too thin can lead to excessive friction and faster wear of engine components.<\/p>\n

Second, the presence of excess fuel can affect the thermal properties of the oil. A high fuel content can make the oil less effective at dissipating heat from the engine. This, in turn, can lead to engine overheating and thermal damage.<\/p>\n

Third, the drop in ignition temperature, which is a consequence of the increased amount of fuel in the oil, can lead to very dangerous situations like micro explosions at ring height.<\/p>\n

Given what a problem this is, we have launched a special testing package designed primarily to check the amount of fuel in the engine oil. We encourage you to check and talk to your service technicians after receiving worrisome test results, even more so if your vehicle is still under warranty.<\/p>\n
