Take samples with clean hands!

Take the sample right away into a clean container.

When pouring from a sink plug, do not take a sample at the beginning of the pour. Contaminants always collect there, which will falsify the overall picture of the condition of the device.

It will not hurt to rinse, theoretically clean, the container with tested oil. This will ensure that any contamination is not the result of a dirty container.

After taking the samples, immediately cap them, describe them, fill in the labels and stick them.
