*) FT-IR spectroscopic examination answers the question regarding the composition of the fluid. What type of glycol (or glycols) it is formulated from, whether it is free of organic impurities, whether it has added glycerin, etc.
Examination of lubricating oil allows assessment of its technical and physicochemical condition. Analysis of such parameters as viscosity, wear rate, presence of contaminants and oxidation makes it possible to assess whether the oil continues to perform its lubricating functions. This makes it possible to detect potential problems early and take appropriate corrective action before more serious damage to machinery occurs.
Lubricating oil can contain traces of metal particles, dust, water and other contaminants that can indicate machinery malfunctions. Lubricating oil testing can provide information on the wear of machine components, the presence of contaminants or damage, which enables earlier detection of potential malfunctions and maintenance planning.
Lubricating oil analysis allows you to evaluate the effectiveness of your machinery maintenance program. Based on the results of the study, oil change or maintenance intervals can be adjusted, saving costs and minimizing machine downtime.
Examining lubricating oil regularly and taking appropriate corrective action can help increase machine life and productivity. Monitoring and maintaining the proper condition of lubricating oil helps reduce friction, wear, corrosion and other factors that can affect the efficiency and life of machinery.
