*) With a fresh sample, from the barrel, of the oil used in the system, we are able to accurately determine oil degradation and find even small organic and inorganic contaminants. Testing of a fresh sample for comparative testing is free of charge provided the full trade name is provided.
Compressor oil testing allows you to monitor the condition and performance of the compressor itself. Oil plays an important role in lubricating and cooling the compressor, and its properties are crucial to the proper functioning of the unit. Testing the oil allows you to detect potential problems, such as component wear, the presence of contaminants or changes in lubricating properties, so you can take appropriate corrective action and keep the compressor’s performance at the right level.
Compressor oil also plays a protective role, forming a lubricating film on moving surfaces and protecting them from friction, wear and corrosion. Testing the oil helps detect possible changes in its lubricating properties, which can lead to increased wear and damage to the compressor. Regular testing allows you to detect potential problems early and take appropriate corrective action to avoid more serious damage.
Compressor oil testing can detect the presence of contaminants in the form of particles, water, sludge or chemicals. These contaminants can affect lubrication quality, reduce compressor performance and cause damage. Monitoring the level of contaminants allows cleaning or maintenance measures to be taken to maintain oil cleanliness and quality.
Compressor oil testing provides information on oil consumption and durability. This allows you to schedule regular maintenance and oil changes at appropriate intervals. Properly scheduled maintenance and oil changes contribute to long-term compressor performance and reliability.
